One of the most common questions I get from guests is, “What brands do you recommend?”
I love answering this—because my response seems to always guest and the answer is well it depends.
Over the years, I’ve worked with many skincare lines. Some I’ve carried in the studio, some I haven’t—and that’s by design. I don’t believe great skincare should be limited to what’s on a shelf or tied to a single price point. Skin is personal, and the best routine is the one that fits your life, your budget, and your skin’s needs.
When I make recommendations, I always consider three things:
lifestyle, budget, and skin concerns.
Those factors matter far more than trends or brand names.
Below are a few of the brands I consistently recommend and why they’ve earned my trust over time.
La Roche-Posay
This is one of my most reliable recommendations, especially for clients with sensitive, dry, or reactive skin. Their formulations are gentle, well-researched, and incredibly effective. Their sunscreens, in particular, are a staple—protective, lightweight, and easy to incorporate into everyday routines. Even more you can find it at most mainstream beauty stores.
The Ordinary
I often recommend The Ordinary for clients who are ready to learn more about active ingredients, shopping on a budget or introducing their teens to a stepped up skincare routine. Products like their Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner and antioxidant serums can be great stepping stones when used correctly. They’re accessible, effective, and ideal for those transitioning into more active ingredients. The price points are A+
CeraVe
CeraVe is one of my go-to recommendations for teens, tweens, and anyone who needs something simple and dependable. It supports the skin barrier beautifully and “just works.” Sometimes consistency and gentleness are exactly what the skin needs to thrive.
IS Clinical — Our Signature Line
IS Clinical holds a very special place in our practice. It’s the professional line we’ve trusted and used for years, and the results speak for themselves.
Products like Pro-Heal Serum Advance, GeneX Serum, and the Active Peel System are powerhouses when it comes to improving tone, texture, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin health. These products pair beautifully with our in-studio treatments and are a core part of many of our client journeys.
